SBDM plays a huge part in our school's community.  This bill has already passed the Senate and we are now trying to make sure that it doesn't make it to the house.  We ask you to call the LRC Message line at 800-372-7181 and ask ALL house representative to vote no on SB 152.

This week, PTA members from across the country are meeting with lawmakers on Capitol Hill, representing the millions of parent leaders and other caring adults who make up our association.  This week we have advocated to:

• Support Our Nation’s Children, Families, and Schools through robust federal funding for the U.S. Dept. Of Education 

• Protect Immigrant Children and Families by Passing the Protecting Sensitive Locations Act  

• Ensure No Child Goes Hungry by Restoring Funding for the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program 

• Introduce Legislation to Strengthen Family-School Partnerships 

• Ensure Children’s Safety Online by Passing the Senate Version of COPPA & KOSA, children’s privacy and online safety bills 

• Protect Our Schools from Violence by Funding  School Violence Program & Opposing Concealed Firearms in School Zones
