Resources for Design Thinking

Want to try something new but don't know where to start? Design thinking is a process that includes empathizing with users and hacking current systems to respond to human needs. This is a collection of system hacks you can try at your school, all inspired by problems brought to light by the film Most Likely to Succeed. 

The Teacher-Founders for School Startup at Fern Creek High School have outlined and currently use a Design Thinking process to deepen learning environments and experiences for their students. A beginners guide to Design Thinking, this page from Stanford d.School has 4 creative problem solving activities. It provides both examples and a model of how a Design Thinking process is applied to problem solving in schools, both by teachers and students.
