We are so excited to start the fourth grade year off with you! A new school year means that we have so much to look forward to and many new beginnings. Blossoming friendships, learning, growing, field trips and so much more!
Scroll through and explore the tabs we have on the fourth grade site! We use this as a replacement for paper newsletters. We do our best to update the blog post section below weekly. You will also find important upcoming fun, assessment dates, what we are learning and so much more.
Dear Fourth Grade Families,
Our permission slips for our first field trip to the parklands on October 6 was sent home on Friday. We will begin collecting the fee on 9/15 until 9/25. There is a credit card option with a 70 cent up-charge. Looking forward to taking our learning outdoors!
Conferences are coming up on September 24th. You will find our signups in the "Mark Your Calendars" section. JCPS is giving us the flexibility to do them after school over multiple days this year. Please email your student's teacher if you need to have a phone conference option.
We have begun work in fractions. Please continue to work on multiplication facts with your kiddos. It is foundational to all of the math we are doing this year.
