Welcome to 4th Grade!

Dear Fourth Grade Families,

Welcome to an exciting new school year! We are thrilled to welcome you and your child to 4th grade. We hope you have enjoyed a fun, relaxing summer and are ready for a year filled with learning, growth, and new adventures.

Fourth grade is an important year as students become more independent learners and take on new challenges. Throughout the year, we will strengthen our reading, writing, math, science, and social studies skills through engaging lessons, hands-on activities, and meaningful discussions. Our goal is to create a classroom where every child feels safe, respected, encouraged, and excited to learn each day.

We believe that a strong partnership between home and school is one of the keys to student success. Open communication is very important to us, and we encourage you to reach out whenever you have questions or concerns. Together, we can help your child have a positive and successful school year.

To help your child succeed, please encourage them to:

• Read for at least 20–30 minutes each evening.

• Complete unfinished classwork and return it on time.

• Come to school each day ready to learn with a positive attitude.

• Stay organized and take pride in their work.

Throughout the year, we will share classroom updates, important reminders, upcoming events, and ways you can support learning at home. Please be sure to check your child's folder, planner, and any classroom communication regularly.

We are honored to be your child's teacher and look forward to getting to know each of you. Thank you for trusting us with your child's education. Together, let's make this a fantastic year filled with learning, laughter, and lasting memories!
