Mrs. Adams is dedicated to supporting our students in every aspect of their academic and personal growth. She provides essential academic supports, including the development and management of 504 plans, ensuring that all students have access to the resources they need to succeed. In addition to academic guidance, she instructs classes on Social Emotional Learning (SEL), helping students build important life skills. Mrs.Adams also meets with individual students and small groups to address specific concerns, offering a safe and supportive space for everyone.
Students’ mental health needs can be a significant obstacle to their academic, career, and social/emotional development. Good mental health is critical to children’s success in school and in life. As a parent, finding the right help for your child can be a scary and unfamiliar process. However, you are not alone!
Parents can work with their child's school counselor to find the right support to overcome mental health barriers. Counselors can help your child find support at school and in the community.
If you or someone you know is experiencing a mental health issue, there are many ways to get help.
