No. duPont Manual and YPAS are apart of the Jefferson County Public School System. JCPS residency is required for admissions.
You may submit a magnet application in order for your student to be considered for your school choice option. Students may always attend a school within their zone. You must provide proof of residence in Jefferson County before your student can enroll in a JCPS school. Call the Office of School Choice at (502) 485-6250 for more information.
All students new to JCPS must register with the district before applying for school. You may register your student for school regardless of immigration status and/or a fixed, regular, and adequate nighttime residence. After you register, JCPS will verify your information and send you an email to complete your application, which can take up to two business days. Incoming ninth graders, high school students new to the district, or high school students with a new address may then enter a Magnet Application.
