OUR MISSION
Our mission collectively as brothers is to positively impact our community by doing acts of kindness weekly and by raising money to serve the homeless with food, clothing, and shelter.
We, Young Lions at DuBois Academy, are taking the initiative to make a difference in our community by showing EMPATHY towards others. We are enthusiastically ready and prepared to lead, to serve, and to impact our community.
One of our goals is to raise $2,000 for the Wayside Christian Mission, Center for Women and Families, and Salvation Army organizations. Also, our class will be doing RANDOM ACTS of KINDNESS because we understand that every act can impact our community. Our outpouring of love and commitment in the community will be shared on Twitter @ Ms. Fields' Classroom #Duboiskindness. Please follow us as we will give updated details of our goals. More importantly, we would love to hear your stories and see your pictures on how you are helping in your community.
I was born to achieve greatness.
I will not be defined by my mistakes, but my willingness to accept correction to learn and grow.
My greatness will be a result of my work ethic, mentorship, and support.
I will achieve all of my goals.
I will be accountable for my actions and responsible to positively impact my community.
I was born to achieve greatness, and I will determine the KING I will become.
