About Freshman Academy:
The Freshman Academy is home to all 9th grade students at Doss. In addition to taking the academic core classes, students take Career Choices- a one semester course that introduces our Academies and Pathways and allows students to reflect on their strengths and interests. Students rank their top three Academy & Pathway choices at the end of first semester, and learn of their placement at the Freshman Reveal Ceremony in April.
