Hello Watterson Elementary School (WES) family!
I'm Octavia West, and I've been an elementary school counselor at WES since August 2022. I'm honored to share that I recently won the "JCPS Outstanding Elementary School Counselor of the Year 2024" award! I feel incredibly fortunate to work alongside such dedicated colleagues every day.
My greatest pleasure comes from supporting our amazing students and families, and we truly appreciate your commitment to Watterson. We welcome your feedback as we strive to enrich learners and help them discover and develop their leadership gifts and talents in an equitable and meaningful way.
It's going to be a great school year, and I look forward to partnering with all of you!
