Gifted Screening Opportunities 

General Intellect- Administered in the fall to all students in 3rd, 4th, and 5th grade

Specific Aptitude (Math, Language Arts, Science, Social Studies)- Identified using MAP data throughout the year primarily in 4th grade

Leadership- Screened in 4th grade

Music- Identified using parent input and input from Brandeis Music Department

Art- Identified using parent input and input from Brandeis Art Department

Primary Talent Pool

Students in K, 1st, and 2nd grade are screened for Primary Talent Pool using both MAP/Brigance Data and teacher recommendation. If you feel your student might qualify for Primary Talent Pool, please contact Ms. Muldoon. Primary Talent Pool is not available to students in 3rd, 4th and 5th grade and does not guarantee placement in either the Gifted or Advanced Programs.
