Hi! My name is Natalia Mendez and I am one of the three ESL teachers at Chancey Elementary. I currently work with the 2nd- 3rd grade multilingual students. I was born and raised in Puerto Rico and hold a BA in English as a Second Language and English Language Arts from 'Universidad del Este'. I love teaching and cultivating meaningful relationships with our multilingual students. I also love teaching our students to advocate for themselves and teach them the importance of their voices and that they matter in our school and community. I can't wait to see you this year!
Hello! My name is Gunjan Tyagi, and I have the joy of being an ESL teacher for the bright young minds at our Chancey Elementary School. Currently, I work with kindergarten and first-grade ML students. With a heart full of passion for language and learning, I strive to create a classroom environment that is vibrant, inclusive, and full of opportunities for each student to thrive. Every child has a unique voice, and my mission is to empower them to express it confidently in English and beyond. By providing opportunities for each student, I will encourage them to participate actively and improve their language skills. I am so proud to be a part of Chancey's team.

Hola!! My name is Mrs. Leslie Sudduth and this is my sixth year as a Chancey Cardinal. I work with Mrs. Aneira as a BAI (Bilingual Associate Instructor). My job is to provide support in the classroom for students in grades K-2 and their families who are learning English as part of this.
