A Message from Ballard Youth Service Center- Survey
Achieving broad parent and student participation is vital to ensuring that the Youth Service Center continues to stay aligned with the real needs of the families we serve.
As you know, the Youth Service Center provides a wide range of services to support students and families, including:
Assistance with basic needs (food, clothing, hygiene items)
Referrals for mental health and counseling services
Academic and college/career readiness support
Programs such as Men of Quality and Women of Worth
Transportation assistance (including TARC tickets)
Coordination of family engagement activities and events
The insights gained from this survey will help us strengthen these services and identify new areas where we can better support our school community. By partnering with the PTA to share the survey, we can ensure that as many parents as possible have their voices heard.

Important Safety Tips:
Do NOT leave your child unattended until you have had them assessed.
Remove any guns or weapons from your home or lock them in a secure location.
Lock up all medications, including over-the-counter medication.
Take all threats seriously and talk with a professional.

The Student Support Center will hold office hours from 11:00am-11:45am Monday through Friday, with the exception of MLK day. The Mental Health Practitioner, Home School Coordinator, and Youth Service Coordinator will be present. This link should be utilized by students.
