The first day of school for K-12 students is Thursday, August 8.  We are looking forward to seeing our returning students and families and are excited about welcoming new students to JCPS.

There are many changes in store for families this school year. Check out our JCPS Back-to-School website designed to help your families prepare for the school year!

Note:  Parents of JCPS students have two unique accounts:

Parent Place is the new place to enter many of the JCPS forms that were previously received in paper format. This page explains how to create an account and utilize Parent Place to enter forms electronically.

The JCPS Parent Portal (run by Infinite Campus) allows you to track your child’s academic progress and develop a partnership with your child’s teachers. Infinite Campus is a secure and convenient way to monitor your child’s attendance, assignments, daily grades, and class schedule as well as bus and health information.

Find out which bus your child will ride, and locate the stops closest to you.

Our school community becomes stronger when we work together!  If you are interested in volunteering at Blake or going on field trips with our school, we would love to have you!

The Jefferson County Board of Education (JCBE) requires volunteers to submit a background check form every five years.

If you have questions, please do not hesitate to contact our front office or your student's teacher.
