Frank Davis
Coach Davis took on the role of head coach at Columbine High School in 2023, marking an exciting new chapter. Prior to his tenure at Columbine, Coach Davis made a significant impact as a valued member of the wrestling and football coaching staff at Mountain Vista High School. With a deep-rooted passion for helping athletes achieve their goals, he also actively contributes to the football program at Columbine. Coach Davis's devotion to helping individuals reach their potential is evident in his coaching philosophy. He firmly believes that wrestling is an unparalleled sport for fostering personal growth. His guidance and mentorship extend beyond the mat, influencing athletes to develop skills that will serve them well throughout their lives. A native of Colorado, Coach Davis pursued his education at Western State and Colorado State University. While at Western State, he experienced a year of football before transitioning into a fulfilling coaching career.Beyond the realm of coaching, Coach Davis is a dedicated Grant Coordinator at the Colorado Department of Labor and Employment. His commitment to empowering others extends into his professional life, reflecting his belief in making a positive impact on the community. Coach Davis, his wife, and their daughter have chosen to call Highlands Ranch home—a place that holds deep personal significance. It's a true reflection of his connection to the area where he grew up and his commitment to building a supportive community for his family and those he mentors.

Matt Cohen
Matt believes that wrestling instills commitment, perseverance, and an unmatchable work ethic like no other experience. Coach Matt started wrestling in Boonton, New Jersey at 10 years old. Wrestling was so influential to Matt's personal development that he started the wrestling club team as a college freshman at the University of Rhode Island (URI) which is still a registered team under the National College Wrestling Association (NCWA). During college, Matt recruited students, organized fundraising and competition events while coaching and competing himself. Matt earned a B.S. degree in Biology and also served URI as a campus tour guide and orientation leader for new and prospective college students.
After URI, Matt immediately moved to Nashville, Tennessee where he worked as a college admissions counselor at Middle Tennessee State University and served as an assistance wrestling coach for three seasons at Franklin High School. While there, Matt coached eleven state qualifiers, five state place winners and one state champion.
Since moving to Colorado in 2019, Matt earned a M.S. degree in Environmental Sciences from CU Denver, married his wife, and now works at Buckley Space Force Base as an Environmental Scientist. In Matt's freetime, he loves to hike, fish and photograph wildlife.
Kyle Derosier
Luke Barron
Coach Barron has been a part of the Columbine High School wrestling coaching staff since 2016. Prior to then he was an Assistant Coach at Heritage High School where he coached alongside his father Ray Barron for many years. He has wrestled his entire life and following his high school wrestling career he attended Western State College in Gunnison Colorado. Coach Barron is a Denver Firefighter. His son, Calvin, is part of the Columbine Youth Wrestling Club where Coach Barron also assists in coaching. Coach Barron appreciates how wrestling prepares athletes for a variety of aspects of life, including overcoming hardship.

and has over a decade of experience training submission grappling
and MMA. Coach Boris runs The GrappleHouse Jiu Jitsu gym in
Littleton with his wife Gesina and when he's not on the mats they're
hanging out at home with their kids and dogs.

John Alley
Coach Alley has been coaching at Columbine since 2016. He started wrestling at a young age for the Heritage Youth Wrestling Program and went on to wrestle for Coach Ray Barron at Heritage High School. He graduated in 2005 and began to pursue a career in the Fire Service. Coach Alley is currently a Westminster Firefighter and credits the sport of wrestling as well as his coaches for providing the skills and tough lessons that build character, grit, compassion and the value of having a strong work ethic. He is passionate about giving back to the sport of wrestling as well as the athletes that compete in the sport.
