Head Coach

Frank Davis

Coach Davis took on the role of head coach at Columbine High School in 2023, marking an exciting new chapter. Prior to his tenure at Columbine, Coach Davis made a significant impact as a valued member of the wrestling and football coaching staff at Mountain Vista High School. With a deep-rooted passion for helping athletes achieve their goals, he also actively contributes to the football program at Columbine. Coach Davis's devotion to helping individuals reach their potential is evident in his coaching philosophy. He firmly believes that wrestling is an unparalleled sport for fostering personal growth. His guidance and mentorship extend beyond the mat, influencing athletes to develop skills that will serve them well throughout their lives. A native of Colorado, Coach Davis pursued his education at Western State and Colorado State University. While at Western State, he experienced a year of football before transitioning into a fulfilling coaching career.Beyond the realm of coaching, Coach Davis is a dedicated Grant Coordinator at the Colorado Department of Labor and Employment. His commitment to empowering others extends into his professional life, reflecting his belief in making a positive impact on the community. Coach Davis, his wife, and their daughter have chosen to call Highlands Ranch home—a place that holds deep personal significance. It's a true reflection of his connection to the area where he grew up and his commitment to building a supportive community for his family and those he mentors.

Luke Barron

Coach Barron has been a part of the Columbine High School wrestling coaching staff since 2016. Prior to then he was an Assistant Coach at Heritage High School where he coached alongside his father Ray Barron for many years. He has wrestled his entire life and following his high school wrestling career he attended Western State College in Gunnison Colorado. Coach Barron is a Denver Firefighter. His son, Calvin, is part of the Columbine Youth Wrestling Club where Coach Barron also assists in coaching. Coach Barron appreciates how wrestling prepares athletes for a variety of aspects of life, including overcoming hardship.


Other Assistants

John Alley

Coach Alley has been coaching at Columbine since 2016. He started wrestling at a young age for the Heritage Youth Wrestling Program and went on to wrestle for Coach Ray Barron at Heritage High School. He graduated in 2005 and began to pursue a career in the Fire Service. Coach Alley is currently a Westminster Firefighter and credits the sport of wrestling as well as his coaches for providing the skills and tough lessons that build character, grit, compassion and the value of having a strong work ethic. He is passionate about giving back to the sport of wrestling as well as the athletes that compete in the sport.


Kasey Wilcox

Coach Wilcox has been coaching at Columbine High School since 2023. He grew up wrestling in Oklahoma and continued competing at the University of Central Oklahoma. He has volunteered as a coach in Oklahoma, Kansas, and North Carolina. He enjoys giving back through wrestling. Coach Wilcox is currently working at Kodiak Building Partners as a Senior Human Resources Manager. When he is not in the wrestling room or at work, he enjoys spending time with his wife and 3 children in Centennial. Coach Wilcox believes the lessons learned through wrestling prepared him for the grit and dedication needed to be a great employee, husband, and father.



Rob Leonard

Coach Leonard wrestled for Elizabeth High School for 12 years and has been around wrestling and coaching his entire life. His dad formerly coached at Kiowa and Elizabeth High Schools and is the inspiration for following in his footsteps to coach. While at Elizabeth Coach Leonard was a captain and four-year starter, placing 6th at state his senior year. He did not wrestle in college but have stayed in constant contact with the sport and helped coach his younger brother to a state championship. Wrestling has made a huge impact on his life and is the source of many lifelong disciplines that he keep with me as an adult. Coach Leonard believes that the lessons he learned as a wrestler have made a huge difference in his success off the mat, and love to pass on the knowledge that he has to a new generation of athletes.
