Homework for my class serves as a means to practice the skills students are working on at school and complete work that they did not finish in class.
5th Grade Homework:
Reading: Students will read for 20 minutes per day.
Math: Students will complete 2 lesson related practice problems digitally each night - accessible through Clever on their school device. Students may get time to work on these in class. If you prefer paper/pencil, please let me know.
ELA: Students will have Grammar homework to complete regularly. There will be occasional module related work from class.
Social Studies: There will be occasional social studies related work from class to complete or projects.
Science: It is expected that all 5th graders participate in the science fair.
Music: Practice the recorder throughout the year.Â
