All about Mrs. Hauck

I am so excited to be your child's 2nd grade teacher!

My name is Cayla Hauck and I will be teaching Second Grade at West Jeff this year. I was born and raised in California. I graduated from Cal State San Marcos in 2006 with my teaching credential in Elementary Education. I worked at a title 1 school for three years teaching a reading program called Lindamood-Bell. I moved to Conifer in 2010 and was able to stay home with my children for a few years. My husband, Jake, is a Colorado native. He grew up here in Conifer and we just love it here.  I returned to teaching  eight years ago. I took on a long term sub position in first grade and I just loved it! Then I taught the Full Day Preschool Class  here at West Jeff.  I then moved into my second grade position.  This will be my sixth year teaching second grade here at West Jeff.  I love teaching second grade and I am excited to start this new year! I have two children; Lexi and Levi.  Lexi will be going into 9th  grade at Conifer High School  and Levi will be going into 7th grade at West Jeff Middle School. I love spending time with my family, camping, gardening and playing games. I received my Masters of Science in Curriculum and Instruction in 2023 and I am always looking for ways to learn new things. I am excited to be teaching 2nd Grade at West Jefferson Elementary School this year and I am looking forward to getting to know each of you and your children.
