Reading. The third grade reading expectation is 15-20 minutes of reading four nights a week. There will not be a reading log, but students will be held accountable for their reading by participating in a discussion about what they read.
Math - Every Friday your child will receive pages of math homework. Your child will have a full week to complete this assignment. Please be sure your child turns it in the following Friday. The skill in the assignment have been covered in class, so your child should need minimal help with this.
Math Facts Practice
Students should be practicing their math facts 10-15 minutes/four days a week.
Optional Homework:
Keyboarding Practice - Students can use the online site, Typing Club, to practice their skills.
