WELCOME

Welcome players and parents to the Wheat Ridge High School Volleyball program. The WRHS Volleyball Boosters are here to support Coach Tim and his staff to a fun and successful volleyball season. Your WRHS Volleyball Boosters fees help support the volleyball program in a variety of ways including the end of the year banquet, concession stand, senior gifts, equipment and other program needs.

ABOUT THE WRHS VOLEYBALL BOOSTERS

The WRHS Volleyball Boosters are an organization run by parent volunteers and is supported by parents, players, family and friends. Fundraisers and volunteers are an important part of keeping this program moving forward and successful. Our goal is to organize fundraisers that are beneficial to the program. Fundraisers have a huge impact on our program and make a huge difference in the success of this program. The WRHS Volleyball Boosters facilitate and organize the programs activities during the season so that the coaches are able to focus on coaching. It takes a great number of volunteers throughout the season to make this a success.

The WRHS Volleyball Boosters are responsible for funding the purchase of apparel, equipment, Senior Night, Homecoming, spirit & team bonding activities, the end of year banquet, and various other activities that arise throughout the season. This can't happen without the generous support of the players, families and friends.

TEAM PARENTS

We have team parent volunteers for each level. This parent volunteer is asked to help with planning and organizing any specific needs for their team. They work with the coach of the team to help support the team in any way they may need. This can include arranging and planning team bonding activities, meals for games and tournaments as needed, transportation if needed to an activity or event, etc.

FEES

It costs money to run a successful volleyball program. This is paid for through a combination of player fees and fundraising. The fee per player this year is TBD and is to be collected at the beginning of the volleyball season. This money goes directly to the volleyball program.

The fee paid directly to the school does benefit the volleyball program, such as paying for buses, our athletic trainer, our coaches' salaries, referees, etc. However, it does not pay for other program costs such as equipment, jerseys, balls, tournament fees, and many other team expenses.
