I am so excited to be teaching your child this year! I began my career in education as a paraprofessional at Westridge Elementary. It was at that time that I realized teaching was what I was passionate about and I couldn't wait to help children blossom and grow! I went to the University of Northern Colorado and was blessed to get my first teaching job at Westridge, where my children went, where my granddaughter went, and the place I call "home." I recently completed my Master's Degree in Technology.
I am originally from California, but moved to Colorado when I was 10 years old. I can't imagine living anywhere else. I am married to a wonderful man named Jim, and we have two beautiful daughters, Hannah (also a teacher) and Tessa. Hannah got married and brought us a wonderful son-in-law, Danny, and with that, another grandchild, Jameson. Addie, my granddaughter, is the best big sister! I am an avid Bronco and Huskers fan, I love motor sports, classic rock music and concerts, dark chocolate, peanut butter, popcorn, and Diet Coke.
First Graders are my passion and I will love your kids like my own. We're going to have a great year together! Let the adventure begin!
