Restorative practices emphasize the importance of positive relationships and restoring these relationships when harm has occurred.
In Kindergarten, we have classroom circles to bond with each other and discuss our feelings, thoughts, and much more. These circles are used to get to know each other at the start of the year, and are also used to solve problems as our classroom community develops. We focus on problem solving, taking ownership of our actions, and what types of actions best maintain positive relationships.
