The Race

Shell Oil is the creator of the Eco Marathon. It began in 1939 when employees made a wager over who could go furthest with the least amount of fuel. Now it is held on multiple continents and engineers can use a variety of fuel sources in the race. 

Entries for the race are either under the Prototype category or the Urban Concept category. In addition the vehicles are divided up according to the fuel type that is used. 

The race will take place in Indianapolis, Indiana from April 3rd to April 7th  of 2024

Warren Tech will take a group of team members and have built a Prototype car for the hydrogen category.
