Fourth Grade

Welcome to 4th Grade at Warder Elementary! Our goal is to prepare students for their future by setting high expectations and challenging our students with authentic learning tasks. We push students to be responsible and independent learners as we set attainable goals for individual students in all subjects. We are excited to incorporate technology into the classroom with one to one Chromebooks to help extend learning and differentiate based on student needs. We cannot wait for a fabulous year!

Weekly Homework:

  • Watch 8-10 minute math videos every night to prepare for the lesson. All videos will be posted on our Math Google Classroom. Make sure you are taking notes in your math journal and completing the entry ticket problems.
  • Read 30 minutes five to six days a week. Fill in your reading chart and turn in every Friday morning. The reading chart may be completed on the form in our Reading Google Classroom or completed on a piece of paper.
  • Sign Friday Folders every weekend and return on Monday.
  • Parents are not required to sign planners every night, but should be checking in to see what homework students have each night.

*Our classrooms are open at 7:50 in the morning for any students who need to stop by to finish homework or watch math videos.

Contact us: Please feel free to send an email or call anytime if you have questions. E-mail is our preferred method of communication. We will respond to email as quickly as possible but please know that if we receive an email after 4:30, we may not get back to you until the next morning.
