As a gamer myself, I have been constantly hearing that video games are bad and that they rot your brain, but as a kid I had no resources to go off of to oppose these statements. That was, of course, until I stumbled across an article in a Xbox official magazine titled "How Games Can Be A Force For Good". This article opened up with a powerful statement, and backed it up with lots of cold-hard evidence from people whose jobs are to study the minds of people, and proof of the good things in video games. I read over this article many times because it was exactly what I was needing. Using this article, I went off into the seams of the internet in search of more helpful information on this issue, and found a couple of useful sources that talked of similar things referred to in the article I had found. Using these sources, I combined them to create a (arguably) argumentative essay of sorts that explains and supports the good side of video games.
