Hello Vanderhoof Community!

I'm Chelsea Henrichsen, and I'm thrilled to be starting my 11th year at Vanderhoof Elementary, where I've spent the last 2 years as the Digital Teacher Librarian. I grew up in the beautiful town of Castle Rock, Colorado, and my educational journey led me to Colorado Christian University, where I earned my Bachelor's degree in Elementary Education and later pursued a Master's degree. Outside of work, my world revolves around my husband, our lively two-year-old daughter, Harper, and our large Black Lab/Doberman. This summer has been an absolute blast for us! We've been lucky enough to escape to the mountains a few times, enjoyed countless visits to the Denver Zoo, soaked up the sun at the pool, explored paddle boarding, and indulged in plenty of reading time. Looking ahead, I couldn't be more excited about the upcoming school year. I'm passionate about integrating technology into education and helping students develop digital literacy skills that will serve them well in the future. Vanderhoof Elementary is a special place, and I can't wait to inspire and empower my students as we embark on another year of learning and growth together.
