We are so excited to have families join us for these week long event so YOU can be a part of your student's day. Families are welcome to attend one or all events. If you have questions, please contact Zenaida Ramirez 303-982-0898. 

Don't forget to check out the activities you can do at home and can be done whether you attended the events or not. 

Donuts with dear ones 2/26

Eating breakfast with you children is the best way to begin your morning and make your day! We would like to invite all families to join their children at the beginning of school in your child's classroom from 7:45- 8:30 am for mini donuts. 

At home Activity: Conversation starters- During breakfast or lunch ask your students the following questions to engage in conversation or click here to access the printable conversation starters.

Recess and lunch 2/27

Join your child for their recess and lunch time. Jeffco’s Healthy Schools team will be here to facilitate fun games for families to play outdoors and Arvada High School students will be here to assist. Then stay to have lunch with your child in the Dining Room. Families are welcome to bring their own lunch or purchase one from the school for $6. Come at your child’s recess and lunch time. 

Kindergarten: 10:15-11:00 am                         3rd Grade: 10:15 - 11:00 am

Home Depot kids Workshop 2/28

This exciting workshop offers a hands on experience as you help your student build a wooden craft. Then paint it! This workshop will be in Dining Room from 2:40-3:40 pm. Student(s) must be accompanied by an adult and a waiver must be signed.

Family Game Night 2/29

Join us for an evening of fun! Bring your own board/card game to share. Dinner will be provided so you have the time to play and get to know other families. Game night held in Dining Room from 4:30-6:00 pm. Try your luck on our game walk and see if you win a game so you can have a family game night at home. 

At home activity: It is important to teach children how to have good sportsmanship and how to lose gracefully. Click here for flyer.

Snuggle up and Read 3/1

What better way to celebrate the end of your week than with your student! Grab your pajamas & head on over to snuggle up & read. Make sure to be on time as we have community leaders reading a book in the classrooms. Then after, hang out with your student to read. Friday is a Pajama Day for EVERYONE!  In the classroom from @ 1:45 pm.
