Meet the Teachers

Mrs. Bromfield

My name is Jennifer Bromfield and this is my 14th year teaching kindergarten at Swanson. I've been a teacher in Jeffco for 19 years and have a master's degree in curriculum and instruction with an emphasis in bilingual education and English as a second language. I love teaching the youngest students at Swanson, they bring so much joy and excitement with them every day.

I'm excited to work with all of the wonderful children and parents this year.

Mrs. McNamara

I am Lisa McNamara. This is my fifteenth year as a kindergarten teacher at Swanson Elementary and my 29th year in Jeffco Schools. I spent many years teaching preschool in Jeffco before coming to Swanson, and I love working and learning with our youngest students.

I have an Early Childhood Teaching License and a BA in Journalism and Communications. I also have an English Language Learning certificate.

I'm excited to get to know all the kindergarten families this year, and I look forward to celebrating the tremendous growth that will happen.

Mr. K

My name is Kace DeKock. I have been teaching kindergarten for 12 years now. I have been teaching English in China for the past 10 years. I am so excited to join and be a part of this amazing team. I truly enjoy teaching the youngest of the children. They can be so much fun in the classroom, and I enjoy seeing the smiles on their faces when they have accomplished great achievements.

I look forward to getting to know all of the children and the families.
