Meet the Teachers

Mrs. Bromfield

My name is Jennifer Bromfield and this is my 15th year teaching kindergarten at Swanson. I've been a teacher in Jeffco for over 20 years and have a master's degree in curriculum and instruction with an emphasis in bilingual education and English as a second language. I love teaching the youngest students at Swanson, they bring so much joy and excitement with them every day.

I'm excited to work with all of the wonderful children and parents this year.

Mrs. McNamara

I am Lisa McNamara. This is my sixteenth year as a kindergarten teacher at Swanson Elementary and my 30th year in Jeffco Schools. I spent many years teaching preschool in Jeffco before coming to Swanson, and I love working and learning with our youngest students.

I have an Early Childhood Teaching License and a BA in Journalism and Communications. I also have an English Language Learning certificate.

I'm excited to get to know all the kindergarten families this year, and I look forward to celebrating the tremendous growth that will happen.

We are excited to welcome two student teachers from Metro State University this semester. Ms. Mohamed is working in Mrs. Mac's class and Ms. Edgett is working in Ms. Bromfield's class. They are ready to work closely with us and your students.
