Hello, I'm Hannah Streeb! This is my 14th year at Swanson Elementary and my fourth year as a literacy interventionist. Prior to this role, I taught English as a Second Language and before that I was a fourth grade classroom teacher.
This year I get to spend most of my time teaching fourth grade literacy. I am very excited to help cultivate a love of reading with my students and develop their reading skills to help them succeed academically and beyond.
On a personal note, I love to spend time outdoors, hiking and skiing with my friends and family. I also enjoy snuggling up to read or watch movies with my husband, Tim; our 8-year-old son, Everett; our dog, Donut; and our bearded dragon, Narissa!
I have been an Occupational Therapist for 6 years and my passion is supporting kids in their development to independence! I have worked all around the country in hospitals, home health, early intervention and outpatient clinics. I serve children at Swanson, Weber, Thomson and Lawrence elementary schools.
