Who Runs it?

Hello.  My name is Megan Watkins and I became the STEM Lab Coordinator when Stott opened the Tinker Lab at the beginning of the 2018-2019 school year.  I was a classroom teacher in the 3rd and/or 4th grades for nine years in Jefferson County. After tutoring for a time, I became a elementary computers and robotics teacher at Two Roads Charter School.  This was the perfect segue for my current position at Stott.

My job is to collaborate with teachers in order to utilize the various materials, robots and technological gadgets that we have in the Tinker Lab.  Our goal is for students to work together on inquiry based tasks that deepen understanding of and engagement in classroom content.
