Keep a summer journal as a place to write or draw your thoughts. Here are some prompts to get you started:
What does your perfect summer day look like?
Invent a new toy. What would it be and how would it work?
Draw a picture of a new superhero or monster. What is their story?
If you had a time machine, where would you go and why?
Create a summer bucket list.
Go for a walk and write about what you saw.
Would you rather - come up with a list of would you rather questions. Then pick your favorite and write your answer.
What is your favorite movie and why?
What about the new school year makes you excited?
