About me

!Bienvenidos! I am a native of Colorado and a product of Jefferson County.

As a student I started in Evergreen, moved to Hawaii, back to Colorado at Westland Christian, and fell in love with Spanish at D'Evelyn Jr/Sr High School (super gracias Sra. Vigil). After graduation, I ventured to Spain, Mexico and the University of Northern Colorado, where I played volleyball until a torn ACL, but earned my B.A. Upon receiving my degrees, I started teaching 4th grade dual-language in Brighton, meandered to Spanish at Bear Creek High School, Spanish at Bear Creek K-8, PE at Addenbrooke Classical and am beyond excited to be a beyond EXCITED to be a CHARGER after 18 years of teaching elsewhere!

I have 3 kids, 1 pig, a husband who operates cranes and lots of family around town. Me encanta volleyball, boating, biking with the kids, going to the beach, watching a good movie in Spanish and theatrical productions!

Doy gracias a Dios and I look forward to many more years at CSH as I am looking forward to my 1st great year with amazing staff and students - !VAYA!
