-Resource for sports injury management, tapings, rehabilitation, referrals
-Dynamic ATC- Kyle Thorson MS, ATC, LAT
Hours: Generally 2:30-6:30pm (non-game days), varies from day to day, can post on door
Contracted for Varsity games and lower level football (may not be there for other lower level games)
When in the Athletic Training Room:
Student-Athletes MUST Sign-in

Concussion
Need doctor clearance to release an athlete to start RTP (return to play). This is a state law.
Require a 6-7 day gradual return to play protocol that is done under supervision of the Athletic Trainer before returning back to sport (also state law).
**The athletic trainer can still refer the student to a doctor if there are any concerns for the student or during the protocol**

Mild to no symptoms-play as tolerated, recommend gradual return, report any symptoms
Moderate symptoms/not hospitalized- recommend seen by PCP, recommend 7 day progression protocol
Severe symptoms/hospitalized- Required to see a PCP for clearance note for return, need 7 day step progression
