Hello! I am Coach Janelle Bennett and I have been coaching volleyball for 21 years! I have coached at many clubs in the area including: Westminster Juniors, Flatirons, Ballistic, VC Denver, and now Colorado Elite. I coached at Jefferson Academy High School as a JV coach, Varsity assistant, and then Varsity coach before taking a break from high school volleyball to have my two children.  Currently, I am a 5th grade teacher at Jefferson Academy Elementary.

My first volleyball experience was in The Swamp when I was a freshman, and I had always dreamed of coming back here to coach. Boy am I happy to be back at SLHS! My Gator pride runs deep and I am so excited to coach these next generations of Gators!!

As a 3D coach, my transformational purpose statement is: "to inspire athletes to develop positive relationships and integrity through encouragement, dedication, skill, and love." I really try to push my athletes to be the best person they can be, on and off the court. You can read my entire philosophy here.
