2026 SEASON INFO
OPTIONAL SUMMER PRACTICES
We will have two optional summer practices left at Hyland Hills Gymnastics (4201 W 94th Ave, Westminster). Those will be from 9:30am - 11am on Thursday July 9th and 16th..
If you have not been, we would LOVE to see you! The cost of those will be $30 which will cover all practices. This waiver will also need to be filled out in order to participate.
OPTIONAL SUMMER CAMP
The optional summer camp will also take place at Hyland Hills July 28th- July 30th from 9:30am - 3pm. The cost will be $120 per gymnast. Please visit this website to register, then click on "Highschool Gymnastics Camp - 101440."
The camp will be an awesome opportunity for girls to start team building activities, hear from guest gymnasts and coaches, participate in a lip-sync battle and they will get a camp t-shirt. I am super excited to attend this multi-high school camp with our gymnasts this year!!'
FALL SPORTS REGISTRATION
Registration for fall 2025 sports will open July 21st. Please view this website for all information you will need to know about registration! There are the requirements for registration on that page as well as instructions for students who do not attend Standley Lake.
Just a reminder:
All athletes must register online and have a current CHSAA physical on file before the first official day of tryouts or practice — no exceptions!
Physicals last for 365 days, so please double-check your student’s physical will stay valid through the entire season.
The CHSAA Medical Eligibility Form will be the only accepted physical form — all others will be declined (see registration website for more info).
OFFICIAL MANDATORY PRACTICES
First day of official, mandatory practice will be Monday, August 10th in Standley Lake's Aux Gym.
Practices for season will be Monday - Thursday 3:45pm-5:45pm in the SLHS Aux Gym.
Your gymnast MUST be registered and cleared in order to participate in practice. Please make sure to visit the SLHS Registration website for more information.
GYM SET UP
We are planning to set up the gym for practice on Saturday, August 1st at 10am. Most of the equipment is in the upstairs closet, but we will need to move the floor and some mats up from the downstairs closet and then set up the floor during that time. We would love for as many people as possible to help us out with set up - I will provide pizza and water!
PARENTS MEETING
Our parents meeting will follow setting up the gym on Saturday, August 1st at 12:15pm in the Aux Gym.
TEAM HIKE!
We are planning a team hike this year for Thursday, August 6th - more details to come soon!
SPORTSYOU COMMUNICATION APP
We have an app for communicating with gymnasts and parents this year called “SportsYou.”
Please have you and your gymnast download the app on their phone and then enter the team code to join:

FLOOR ROUTINES/MUSIC
Due to copyright laws, individual gymnasts must purchase their own floor music with the license that allows them to play it in a “performance.” Turn in receipt into me (alicia.willis@jeffco.k12.co.us) - these must be uploaded to the National Federation of State High School Associations.
Some places where you can get floor music from legally: NOT ITUNES
Floor Express, Energym, Jump Twist, Floor Tracks, Tune Gym
If you have your music and are ready to send me the receipt, please do so at any time!
MEET SCHEDULE
Here is a link to the meet schedule! It is early, so it may change slightly, but our first meet is Thursday, August 27th at home.
SPIRIT PACKS
We will be doing a spirit pack near the beginning of the season which will cost no more than $100. I will provide more information about that as we get closer to the season.
JOG IN THE BOG
Jog in the Bog will be happening on Saturday, August 22nd at 10am at College Hill Library. Register using this website. This is a great fundraiser that the SLHS Athletic Boosters puts on - we try to get as many girls and their families to come as possible each year. SLHS Athletic Boosters helps us pay for things such as mat tape, pizza for set up, helping with the banquet, etc. $15 of each registration is donated to the SLHS team, activity, or club you choose (choose gymnastics 🙂).
SPONSORSHIP FUNDRAISER
Does your company or do you know a company who would like to sponsor the gymnastics team?
