Absent - What to do when you're absent
When you are absent, I will assign the lesson for the day on ILC (Imagine Learning Classroom) jeffco.ilclassroom.com. Please review the "Lesson" (the slides we viewed as a class). Submit the lesson after reviewing it. It will not be graded, it is for you to have access to the content. Please ask questions if you need further clarification on the lesson.
You are still responsible for the cool down and additional practice problems on ILC on the days you are absent. These will be graded.
If you know you will be absent, please let me know and I will give you access to the lessons ahead of time.
How to Access Lessons and Content on ILC
You are able to view the lessons and materials on ILC anytime, they don't need to be assigned to you. The following link shows step by step instructions:

Corrections
Corrections are encouraged when you haven't fully understood the content. If you would like to submit corrections, please email them to me or give me a written paper in class. The corrections should include your thinking that led to the mistake and the reasons why the correct answers are correct. Please do not just email me the correct answers since you are provided with them on ILC when your assignments are returned. The explanations are the most important part. Please include the assignment name in your subject line, such as: Alg1.1.4: The Shape of Distributions (The abbreviation is for the course, unit and lesson: Alg1 (Algebra 1) 1 (Unit 1) 4 (Lesson 4) Alg1.1.4). This is also how it will be listed in your gradebook on Infinite Campus. I am happy to help you during lunch or after school.
