Anthea Justice: K-6 Learning Specialist

This will be my 13th year at Ryan Elementary, my 3rd as a Learning Specialist. I spent my first 10 years teaching in the classroom 3rd and 5th graders. My own education has led me to a Masters in ESL Curriculum & Instruction and an endorsement in Special Education. I look forward to continuing my work - in classrooms - helping contribute to the fun, meaningful, and successful learning environment Ryan has to offer.

When I'm not at school learning, I enjoy spending time outdoors, cooking, reading as many books as I can, and practicing yoga. This summer, I will be completing my training to become a certified yoga instructor!

This will be my 3rd year as a learning specialist and my 2nd year at Ryan. I graduated from the University of Northern Colorado with an undergraduate degree in Special Education and I am currently pursuing a masters degree in applied behavior analysis and working towards my BCBA certification. I am excited to be at Ryan Elementary again! My passion is helping students grow as young learners by helping them academically and behaviorally inside the classroom. My passion is helping students see their own potential and helping them grow as individuals.

I am a mountain girl and enjoy being outside as much as I can. I love hiking, running, camping, and spending time in my hometown of Leadville, CO.

Debra West: Speech Language Pathologist

This will be my 21st year as a Speech Language Pathologist and my 10th year at Ryan. I have a Master's Degree in Speech Language Pathology from Fort Hays State University. I am dedicated to working with your children to increase their communication skills in fun and engaging ways while challenging them to push themselves to be successful.

When I'm not working, I enjoy getting outdoors and spending time with my family. I also enjoy reading books, being crafty, and exploring the countryside for old houses to photograph.
