Welcome to the 2026-2027 school year! This is my 25th year teaching, all in 3rd and 4th grade. This will be my 20th year at Ryan! I grew up in Louisville, CO, and attended UNC where I played softball and got my degree in Psychology and Elementary Education. I completed my Master’s Degree in Elementary Education at the University of Northern Colorado and have my English as a Second Language Endorsement. My husband teaches Physical Education in the Boulder Valley School District. We have 4 kids. Grady is 16, Laine is 14, Ava is 12 and Anna is 9. We are sports fans and have season tickets to the CU Buffs football games, I drive the shuttle service for all the sports and when I have a spare second, I love to read! I am so excited for a wonderful school year!

I received a Bachelor's Degree in Psychology and a Master's Degree in Elementary Education from Metropolitian State University in Denver.
Over the summer, I went to Alaska on a solo cruise. I love to travel and do yearly trips to Disney with my dad.
If I am not teaching I am reading, running, working out or watching the latest documentary.
I am so excited for a wonderful school year!

Hello everyone! Welcome to 4th grade!
I've been with Jeffco's GT Centers program for the past four years and I'm looking forward to another great year. I really enjoy 4th grade content and I hope you will too.
In math, we get to explore decimals in depth for the first time, deepen our understanding of fractions, and apply what we know about multiplication and division to compute with some really big numbers! In reading, we get to read higher-level texts and end off the year with Lemonade Wars (both the book and the competition!) My favorite science content of 4th grade is geology, and we will get to dive in (figuratively) to volcanoes, earthquakes, and tsunamis. However, I am most jazzed for social studies, where we will learn about all the people who have moved in an out of Colorado for the past 1000 years and how they made it into the beautiful state we know today.
