I am so fortunate to be a third grade teacher at Ryan Elementary. I have taught 25 years, all of which have been here at Ryan. I love the community at Ryan and the wonderful staff that I work with. I was born and raised in Pueblo, Colorado. I left Pueblo to continue my education at The University of Northern Colorado and finished my teaching licensure at Metro State College of Denver. After that, I went on to pursue my Masters Degree in Instructional Technology from Regis University. I enjoy watching and playing sports, spending time with family and friends and traveling to new places whenever we have the opportunity. I am so glad to be your child's teacher and hope that I can inspire them to be their best and teach them a love for learning!
This year will be my 9th year teaching at Ryan Elementary, and I am so excited to be teaching Third Grade! I love this grade so much and am grateful that I get to revisit and read some of my favorite stories in Third Grade.
Formerly, I was the Director for Ryan's School Age Enrichment program. I ran the SAE program for about two and a half years and fell in love with the Ryan families, the staff, and the school. I wanted to be even more a part of the community so I enrolled in Graduate school to receive my Masters degree in Elementary Education.
I have a wonderful little family consisting of my husband, Steven, and our new puppy named Estes, they are my whole world. I love to do anything outdoors and I LOVE to read. I am over the moon about getting the opportunity to teach your children, and hope I can help them love learning as much as I do!

I love reading for fun, taking walks with my two dogs and gardening! I am committed to seeing your children grow and learn this year! I also believe in celebrating their growth and success along the way! I can’t wait for the fun year we are going to have!
