I am so excited to begin my eighth year teaching Second grade at Ryan Elementary! We have such an outstanding staff and community and I’m so honored to be a part of it!

As a Colorado native, I have lived in many places along the Front Range. I attended Conifer High School and earned my Bachelor’s Degree at the University of Colorado at Boulder. When I decided to go into education, I received my teaching license from Metropolitan State University of Denver. More recently, I received my ESL Endorsement from Regis University.

Currently, I live in Denver and enjoy riding my bike to fun restaurants with my amazing husband. Also, when I’m not in the classroom, I love doing yoga, being outside in our beautiful Colorado mountains, and spending time with my wonderful family.

Welcome to another great year at Ryan Elementary! This will be my seventh year teaching 2nd grade and I am thrilled to be working alongside such a wonderful team of educators. I started as a student at Ryan which makes me an original Hawk! I am so grateful to be part of such a dedicated and supportive community.

My journey to become an educator started at the University of Colorado Denver where I earned my Bachelor’s Degree in Elementary Education. I continued my passion for education by going back a second time to receive my Master’s Degree in Curriculum and Instruction.

Aside from teaching, I spend my time with my boyfriend, my family, and my energetic lab retriever. Being a Colorado Native, I love experiencing what our beautiful state has to offer. I enjoy spending time outdoors, going fishing, and attending sports games.

I look forward to another great year in second grade!

I am so happy to be part of second grade team here at Ryan Elementary! I have been at Ryan for six years and I have taught in Kindergarten and Second grade. I am grateful to be part of this amazing community and be able to work with such a wonderful staff.

I was born in Chico, California but moved to Colorado when I was two - so I still consider myself a Colorado Native. I attended CU Boulder to get a degree in elementary education and psychology. I recently graduated from CU Denver with a masters in curriculum and instruction.

I live with my husband (Kyle) and we have a five year old dog (Benya) and a three year old little puppy (Xabi). On the weekends we enjoy hiking with our little guys, rock climbing and spending time with our friends and family.

I am excited for a great year and to be able to watch your child grow along the way!
