Welcome to another great year at Ryan Elementary! This will be my 11th year teaching 2nd grade and I am thrilled to be working alongside such a wonderful team of educators. I started as a student at Ryan which makes me an original HawkSTAR! I am so grateful to be part of such a dedicated and supportive community.
My path to become an educator started at the University of Colorado Denver where I earned my Bachelor’s Degree in Elementary Education. I continued my passion for education by going back a second time to receive my Master’s Degree in Curriculum and Instruction.
Aside from teaching, I love spending time with my husband, my son Liam, and our energetic Lab Retriever, Bentley. Being a Colorado Native, I love experiencing what our beautiful state has to offer. I enjoy spending time outdoors, going fishing, and attending sports games.
I look forward to another great year in second grade!
This will be my sixth year teaching at Ryan Elementary, and my third year teaching Second Grade! I am so excited to get to revisit and read some of my favorite Second grade stories.
Formerly, I was the Director for Ryan's School Age Enrichment program. I ran the SAE program for two and a half years and fell in love with the Ryan families, the staff, and the school. I wanted to be even more a part of the community so I enrolled in Graduate school to receive my Masters degree in Elementary Education, and the rest as they say is history!
I have a wonderful little family consisting of my fiance, Steven, and a toy poodle named Charlie, they are my whole world. Steven and I are getting married Labor Day weekend, and then taking a little Honeymoon in Estes Park. Charlie is going to be our ring bearer!
I love to do anything outdoors and I love to read. I am over the moon about getting the opportunity to teach your children, and hope I can help them love learning as much as I do!
This will be my fourth year teaching! I started out at Betty Adams Elementary teaching 3rd/4th. The last 2 years I have been at Ryan Elementary teaching 5th grade and teaching 3rd grade last year.
I received a Bachelor's Degree in Psychology and a Master's Degree in Elementary Education from Metropolitian State University in Denver. Before teaching I worked with
I have a great little family consisting of my boyfriend Alexander and two cats Odin & Freyja. If I am not teaching I am working out, reading or crocheting. I am so excited to start a new grade and work with your child!
Welcome to the 2023-2024 school year! This will be my thirteenth year of teaching and my first here at Ryan Elementary. I have experience in both general education and gifted classrooms. I love teaching and showing students how much they can grow throughout the school year. Being able to be a part of the Ryan community means a lot to me and I wouldn’t want to be anywhere else!
