Drug Intervention Services

Program Description

Our School Nurse provides direct case management services to any student who has been suspended for substance use or who is suspected of substance use and referred by school personnel, parent/guardian, or self-referral. The School Nurse offers screening and guidance for the student and their family to help navigate resources and services that may be available. The School Nurse will act as a liaison between the schools, the family and other involved agencies to help the student be successful. 

High School Nurse's Role:

Our School Nurse partners with student and family in accessing substance abuse treatment options and other related resources and services that will help the student thrive academically and socially.
