The graduation ceremonies for the Class of 2025 will be conducted on May 16, 2025.

Graduation ceremonies for the Class of 2024 were conducted at 10:30 a.m. on May 17, 2024.
Graduation from high school is an important milestone in the lives of students and their families. The graduation ceremony is a dignified occasion, a time of celebration. Courteous and considerate behavior will allow everyone in attendance to recognize the achievement of each graduate and ensure this is a ceremony that all will treasure as a memorable event.

General Public Admission Policies
Bags or containers larger than 12 inches by 6 inches by 12 inches are prohibited. No bags permitted at all including backpacks, diaper bags, and other similar bags, unless they meet the clear bag standards. Clutches and Purses with or without a handle or strap must be no larger than 4.5 inches by 6.5 inches. Also allowed are one gallon or smaller clear plastic zip bags.
If you have any medical items that are necessary, please notify security so those items can be properly inspected.
The CU Events Center complies with all TSA and Homeland Security prohibited items lists.
Food and beverage items may not be brought into the CU Events Center. Concession stands will sell food and beverages.
All patrons will be requested to return prohibited items to their vehicles, hotel rooms or homes, or check at Guest Services locker location outside the NW entrance of the CU Events Center.
PERMITTED ITEMS:
Bags that are clear plastic, vinyl or PVC and do not exceed 12” x 6” x 12”
One-gallon (or smaller) clear plastic Ziploc/freezer bag
Small clutch bags (no larger than 4.5” x 6.5” with or without a handle or strap
Medically necessary items after proper inspection at Entrances
Non-alcoholic beverages in approved factory-sealed plastic containers; 51 oz. / 1.5 liters or smaller
Empty non-disposable plastic water bottles; 51 oz. / 1.5 liters or smaller (one per ticket holder)
Umbrella Strollers; if larger they can be returned to vehicle or checked in at Guest Services
Seat cushions and chair backs must be 18” or less in width (no pockets, zippers or covers)
Small personal cameras
Binoculars
Service Animals
Blankets
Thank you for adhering to the following guidelines, designed to reflect the seriousness and dignity inherent in the occasion:
Attire Under the Gown
Dresses/Skirts that do not hang below the gown (flat collars, not a turtleneck style, recommended, for pictures).

Long or short sleeve, collared, light colored shirts with tie and dress trousers (recommended, for pictures, dark colored).
Shoes
Comfortable shoes, be mindful of dignity inherent in the occasion.
Jewelry and Corsages
Inconspicuous, if any.
No corsages on the gown are permitted.
ALL graduates must wear the authorized graduation cap, gown, and tassel. In addition, graduates may wear only school issued honor cords and two academic medals (if earned). Students should not add any other accessories, decorations, or carry any placards, posters or any other paraphernalia that might distract from the ceremony.
Graduation caps should not be decorated or embellished. Dress attire under the gown should comply with all school dress code guidelines and should reflect the importance and dignity of the occasion (i.e. dress shirts and slacks with dress shoes or dresses/dress attire and dress shoes).
Graduates must not engage in any acts of rowdiness, noisy behavior, or misconduct.
Graduates must conduct themselves properly before, during, and immediately following the ceremony so the ceremony will be meaningful to everyone in attendance.

GRADUATION PICTURES
Lifetouch + Shutterfly:
This year we will be working with Lifetouch Shutterfly for graduation portraits at our commencement ceremony.
Lifetouch will photograph our graduates and 3-5 days after the ceremony the portraits will be uploaded to a Photo Day website you can access using the links that will be provided in this space as the date of graduation nears.
Once the portraits are uploaded you will be directed to the graduation gallery to view the student portraits for this event.
If you log in prior to the images being uploaded you will receive a special offer to make a pre-payment towards your graduation order and receive free shipping.
Prepayments are not required to view your student’s portrait, simply wait until after the images are uploaded to the gallery.
