Here's a little about me! I grew up  in Littleton and attended Jeffco Public Schools. I graduated from Metropolitan State College of Denver in 2008 with my BA in History. I have always had a strong love of Social Studies. I love being reminded that we are a culmination of our past experiences and it fascinates me to think about how the past has brought us to our understanding of the present. I'm hoping my excitement is contagious...

Following my undergrad work, I began working on a masters in 20th Century American political history with an emphasis on foreign policy. While completing my studies (and having to continually explain that what I was doing wasn't boring!), I realized that my passion lies in sharing my love of history with others. I completed my teaching licensure in 2011 at the University of Colorado Denver and have been teaching in Jeffco since the fall of 2011.
