Mrs.
Romero
Hello! My name is Erin Romero and I am thrilled to be teaching Kindergarten at Red Rocks Elementary. This will be my 23rd year teaching in Jefferson County. I’ve taught 2nd grade, however, the majority of my career has been spent teaching first grade. I have a passion for teaching literacy and instilling a love of learning at an early age.
I graduated from Chatfield Sr. High in 1994 and went on to get my degree at Metro State College in Denver. I received my Master’s Degree in teaching Literacy shortly thereafter.
I am married with two sons ages 18 and 22. We enjoy the outdoors. Some of our favorite activities include camping, boating, and visiting new places. My sister and I have written and published two children’s books that highlight some of those hobbies. I look forward to sharing them with all of you.
I would like to take this opportunity to introduce myself and tell you how excited I am to be your child’s Kindergarten teacher! My name is Vanessa Kalsbeck, I have taught in Jefferson County for 20 years. I was a first grade teacher for 6 years and have I have been teaching kindergarten ever since! Kindergarten is my passion and I am so excited to partner together to begin your child's educational journey in a fun, positive learning environment.

WE enjoy being outdoors, camping, skiing, boating, etc. We love traveling and spending time together as a family.
