Mrs. Dormer

Hello! My name is Stephanie Dormer and I am excited to collaborate and and get to know you and your child this school year.

This is my 24th year of teaching in Jeffco and my first year at Red Rocks.  Over the years I've taught 1st, 2nd, 3rd, and 5th grade.  The past few years I have taught 3rd grade. I'm looking forward to teaching 1st grade again.

I am a Jeffco graduate, graduating from Chatfield.  I have an undergraduate degree in Psychology and a masters degree in Elementary Reading and Literacy. 

My husband and I have 3 grown boys and a year old black lab that keep us busy.  We enjoy cheering for Colorado sports teams (specially the Avalanche and Broncos), golfing, camping, going to concerts, and hanging out with friends.

I'm looking forward to a getting to know you and your child and having a great year.

Welcome to First Grade! My name is Jamie Gordanier, and I am excited to get to know your child and partner with you to help them along their educational journey. 

This is my 26th year of teaching in a Jeffco school. I taught 4th grade for 14 years, and 1st grade ever since! 

I was born and raised in Littleton and grew up in Jeffco schools. After graduating from Chatfield in 1994, I went to CSU for my undergraduate degree in Human Development and Family Studies. I then went on to CU Denver for my teaching license and masters in Curriculum and Instruction with an emphasis in Inclusionary Practices. 

My husband and I have been married for 3 years and live 2 miles from the house I grew up in. We have four children ages 24, 21, 18, and 16. We enjoy being outside, playing cards, watching and going to sports events, playing tennis, listening to music, cooking, and being with friends and family.

I am excited to get to know all of you and your families. Together, we will have an amazing year!
