Pelada Community Soccer

On South American courts, the spirit recalls Brazil's pelada, informal street football played on concrete, sand and improvised pitches from Rio's favelas to Amazon towns.

Here technique is sculpted by tight spaces, quick feet and samba rhythms, turning play into apprenticeship. Many of Brazil’s greats began in games like this, where community, creativity and resilience shape tomorrow’s talent.

CFC Pelada is open to all community members: girls-boys, young-old, fast-slow, and everyone in between!

Day of Service

As part of Columbine Day of Service, the CFC boys program volunteered at Clement Park mulching trees and cleaning up trash. We had a blast bonding and giving back to the community.
