My name is Per (pronounced pear, it's Swedish) and I am a life long Coloradan! I grew up south of Denver and graduated from Colorado State University (Go Rams!). I also went to school to be a pastry chef and have worked in bicycle shops since I was 14, but finally settled on teaching as what I wanted to do for the rest of my life.
I have been an advisor at the Open School since 2011. I have had the great fortune of working at the ELC, IA, Bridges and Foundations levels of our school and I have taught almost every subject you can think of, but my favorite is Math. Along side being an advisor, I will also be the 8th grade math teacher.
I love being outside. If I'm not hanging out with my wife and kids, you'll probably find me running or riding my bike somewhere. I love fly fishing and hanging out in rivers when ever I get the chance.
