Welcome to the 2019-2020 school year!
Hello! My name is Jessi Oberbeck and I am SO excited to be teaching my fifth year of Kindergarten at Stevens! I taught preschool for five years in Jefferson County at Witt Elementary School. After that, I did a long term sub position in first grade class in Englewood Public Schools. I spent the rest of that school year subbing in many other schools across Jeffco. I hold licenses in both Early Childhood Education as well as Elementary Education from Metro State University. In November 2019 I graduated from Grand Canyon University with a Masters in Early Childhood Education.
When I am not teaching, I enjoy bird watching (I hold a Masters from the Denver Audubon Society), going to sporting events (especially Colorado Mammoth games), traveling, reading, and going to the theatre. Musical theatre is one of my favorite things in the world!
