Math 8
Welcome to Math 8!
Math 8 is a math course designed to be a college preparatory class based on the CPM curriculum. Students in this class are 8th graders and 7th grades (other teachers may have only 8th graders, only 7th graders, or a mix in their Math 8s) and the course will go over the following topics:
Problem Solving
Simplifying with Variables
Graphs and Equations
Multiple Representations
Systems of Equations
Transformations and Similarity
Slope and Association
Exponents and Functions
Angles and Pythagorean Theorem
Surface Area and Volume
