Welcome to Remote Art class!

I’m excited to have the opportunity to work with all students one-on-one virtually. I hope the time completing your art assignments will be educational and enjoyable. I look forward to seeing your creations!

Students should be checking their Google Classroom everyday during the school week for new posts. Posts will include a question for attendance and a lesson. Some lessons may take more than one day. Assignments should be completed on the due date before 2:30. The expectation is that students will answer the daily question each day before 2:30 pm and submit it online.

My assigned office hours are 1:00-2:00 pm. I will be available for live Google Meet sessions during that time. I will be responding to emails and available to use Google chat with students throughout the day. If students have any questions or need to contact me to turn in late work outside of those office hours, they should email me at redunn@jeffcoschools.us. I will be checking my email frequently between 7:30 am-3:30 pm, and I will respond to questions during those hours.

Many lessons will be completed online, while some will include creating art in sketchbooks. Most students were able to get their sketchbooks before leaving. If they were not, any decent quality blank paper, minimum 8 ½” X 11” will be fine. You will also need a pencil, eraser, and if possible, colored pencils or markers. You can share images by taking a photo with your Chromebook camera, or a phone for a better quality image.

This is an adventure. I look forward to exploring this new way of learning with you. Stay positive, ask questions, embrace the new, and make art!
