This is my 9th year at Chatfield Senior High School and my eleventh year teaching English in Jefferson County. I am a native of Colorado as well as Jefferson County Public Schools. I grew up in Arvada, graduated from Arvada West High School and then went to college at Metro State College of Denver. I received a Bachelor's degree in English with a license in secondary education. I finished my Masters in English Curriculum and Instruction at the University of Colorado Denver in the summer of 2015. I love to read, especially Harry Potter, and watch 80's movies. My husband and I love to travel all over the world. A few of our favorite places have been Costa Rica, Italy, Cannon Beach in Oregon, and Boston. I love being a part of the Charger family and am looking forward to a great year.

This October I am going to be having a baby boy; therefore, starting right around October 25th, I will have a longterm sub, Miss Davis, taking over my classroom for the remainder of the semester. More info on this to come!
