Pride Alliance, first established in 1971 as the Committee on Gay Education (CGE), came into being in order to meet the needs of the gay, lesbian, bisexual, and transgender students.

Welcome to Pride Alliance! Pride Alliance is a safe and welcoming space where anyone on the gender and orientation spectrum can come to find and give support to their peers. The goal is to celebrate every person for who s/he/they are. All are welcome! If you're struggling with your orientation or gender identity, come on in! If you are straight but you want to find ways to support your friends/family/community at large with understanding and acceptance of all who walk this Earth, come on over! We are all about providing opportunities for personal growth through dialogue while exploring the ideas around personal identity and creating support systems to enable achievement.

YOU are going to run these meetings. YOU are going to decide what we do as a group. YOU are going to make sure the agendas are honored. This is YOUR club...I'm just here to learn and listen.
