Dear World,
I am writing this letter to every person to explain a concept many in the world must face.
There are the times when a friend or comrade does something (this something can be anything). This act makes one cry. It is not because they are mad at the person who did the act, but rather at what the action represents. It reminds us of all the sadness of the day and reminds us just why we find it hard to smile. Then all we can do it cry, or run, or walk away. We do these things for they seem the only way to let out the emotion. What if there was another way? To all the people who feel as I do and have experienced the same stress I have. Here is what I have to say to you; find the humor amongst your stress. When the world seems like it is always hating on you just smile or laugh.
This may sound cheesy, but it helps. It helps. Such a thing as a laugh or a smile can go a long way. It can replace tears with giggles, sadness with contempt, and can remind you that it’s not all so bad. We all have to make it through. We all have to endure such things as stress, anticipation, anger, grievance. It is not an uncommon thing. The real uncommon thing is learning to overcome that. If you are weighed down by the burdens of life, then make sure to imagine the burden is light as a feather. If one can learn to do such things then happiness will never be a rarity. So smile when sad. Laugh when stressed. And remember that you’re not the only one.
Love,
AJ
Home
It feels great to hop off the bus on a Friday afternoon and walk down the quarter mile driveway, while listening to music and looking at the hundreds of trees surrounding me. As I walk on the dirt path, I spot beautiful bucks eating some grass to my left in the green open field.
I keep walking and start to see a cabin. That cabin is where I reside. Where I reside. My home. My place.
I walk a little farther passed the cabin to look at the rest of the nature. Bunnies are jumping across the field, ground squirrels are climbing the pine trees that are within feet away from me.
I know this is the place for me and my great grandfather who created it.
